Ingredients

  • 300 ml oil
  • 1.5 kg onions

  • 1.5 kg of zucchini
  • 2 hot peppers, tomatoes
  • 1 l tomato juice

  • 1 tablespoon sugar

Method of preparation

Wash and peel all the vegetables, then chop them into cubes. First fry the onion in hot oil, sprinkle a little salt and leave it in the pan until soft. After it has changed color, add the peppers or donuts and leave for another 15 minutes. Put the eggplant and zucchini, sliced ​​hot peppers, whole garlic, peeled, and continue cooking for 20 minutes on low heat. Season with salt and sugar (the latter is used to get rid of acidity) pour the tomato juice and mix. When the sauce has thickened and the vegetables have boiled, turn off the stove and sauté the garlic cloves. Transfer the pot to sterilized jars and boil them in a steam bath for half an hour.

The vegetable pot is similar to many with the dish called ratatouille niçoise, a traditional vegetable stew from the Provence region of France, in Nice. It consists mainly of boiled vegetables such as eggplant, onions, zucchini, peppers and tomatoes. Like any other traditional recipe, there is no exact way to prepare it, only a few steps are required. And here, by the way, there are two ways to prepare vegetables: cooking them separately or all together.

There are also similar recipes in other European countries. The Maltese version is called "kapunata" and is prepared in the same way as the French one, but it is also accompanied by fried fish. In Italian cuisine it is called "caponata", in Spain "pisto", in Hungary "lecsó", in Bulgaria and Romania "pots", in Greece "briami". The Croatian and Serbian versions are a bit different. They are called "Đuveč" and contain green beans and rice.

Basil is a plant that can be grown in enclosed spaces, for example, in the kitchen, next to a well-lit window. It needs 5 hours of direct sunlight during a day. The basil plant should be watered regularly every 3-5 days depending on the quality of the soil.

This aromatic plant needs a lot of light and heat. If the plant does not have light, it begins to change the color of the leaves to yellow. You don't like shady or semi-shady places.

Water required: If the basil has sunlight then it should be watered daily. Be careful not to puddle the water as it will cause the roots to rot.

Here are some tips on growing and caring for basil in pots:

To grow basil & icircn pots, you need a few seeds, a pot with a diameter of 15-30 cm, which has a hole & icircn the bottom, to allow water to drain and a suitable soil, well drained, on which & icircl you can buy from a florist.

Therefore, the first step is to fill the pot with soil in a proportion of three quarters. Then water the soil, but not excessively. In addition to watering, which is done when the soil is almost completely dry, it is recommended that once every two to three weeks, loosen the soil by raking it with a sharp object. Thus, the roots will enjoy more nutrients, and the basil will grow faster.

The pot of vegetables will come out so tasty that you will enjoy it as such, along with fresh homemade bread. In addition, it is a must for lovers of spicy dishes to try it!

For fasting days or not, the next recipe will get the most demanding family members ready. From any pantry, the simple and good potted jar should not be missing. So you need 1h 30 & # 8242.

If in summer we feel the need to drink lemonades, for the sensation of freshness and coolness, in autumn and winter we enjoy the benefits of lemons in the form of tea.

It retains vitamins and an alkalizing effect for the body, only it is warm and more fragrant.

It is prepared from fragrant rum & acircnesc basil, & icircmbined with exotic and fresh lemon & acircia, with rooibos leaves and cloves. These ingredients are left to infuse in hot water for 10 minutes.


Bad-smelling beetles get their name from a substance they produce from their glands. When these insects are scared or crushed, they will release an unpleasant odor. Autumn is usually the time when most homeowners notice more beetles indoors. This is because they are not able to tolerate the cold winter weather.

As the weather changes, groups of stinky beetles make their way inside through windows, doors, chimneys and other cracks and fissures. Once they send the "invitation" to other stinking insects to join them, they can invade the house to hibernate all winter.

So now that we know we don't have to crush them, it's probably a good idea to know how to get rid of them. Unfortunately, Do-It-Yourself methods do not prove to be effective in most cases.

The most important factor is the location of the entry point and its sealing, so that the smelly beetles, as well as any other pests, can not return. They can be temporarily removed using a napkin and then sanitized by the hands.
